About Me

I am what I am, and yet that is always changing - and I wouldn't have it any other way. I fancy myself as a decent person who wants to live an extraordinary life and help others to do the same. While my confidence to do that oscillates day-to-day, I am grateful to be supported by a loving and amazing man who reminds me to not be too quick to judge while still trusting my instincts.

I have held a variety of jobs, ranging from a cashier to an attorney, that I believe keeps me grounded with a broad perspective. I have felt intimidated by teenagers and possess the courage (and stupidity) to pet a lion. If life has taught me anything in my humble years, it's that life is what you make of it. While you can't protect yourself against setbacks and disappointments, you have the power to interpret your experiences and designate their value and significance in your life.

I grew up in Ohio, lived a few years in Southern California, spent a decade in NYC, and now reside in Montclair, NJ. I am married with no kids. I had a miscarriage in 2016 and have been trying to conceive since then - actually undergoing my 5th round of IVF as I write this. I am currently a real estate investor and am building a law firm with my husband, focused on estate planning that encompasses both your life and legacy and counsel for businesses that empower owners to make wise strategic decisions.

My hope for this blog is that it brings people closer to their own congruence as I narrow my own gaps. If nothing else, I will at least have the knowledge that I tried and the opportunity to fail and try again.
